It's not your average camping site: there are no pitches, no campers. Yet it is far from glamping as every detail is carefully crafted but there's nothing flashy or glam. Just tents in the middle of nature. There are no houses nearby, and there is plenty of space to enjoy outdoor life with hiking and cycling trails.
The tents are nestled atop the Lajatico woods, offering a breathtaking view as the lush greenery stretches towards the sea, undisturbed by human activity. It's a perfect retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to unwind, disconnect, and enjoy activities like cycling, scenic hikes and excursions.
Just a short drive away you can explore Tuscan gems such as Lajatico and the Teatro del Silenzio, Peccioli, Volterra, San Gimignano, and many others...
You can rent one of the four tents or the entire campsite with a group of friends to enjoy a vacation immersed in the Tuscan wilderness.
Each tent has a private patio, dedicated bathroom and shower and a large common area with a fully equipped kitchen. Guests will find fresh fruit, homemade cookies, bread and jams every morning, along with coffee, tea and juices to enjoy breakfast on their own time.

The tents
Nearly 20 sqm large, furnished like a bedroom. The tents are made of breathable waterproof fabric, with side walls that can be rolled up on hotter days, leaving room for convenient mosquito nets. The setup allows for a queen size bed and a sofa or three single beds.
Each tent is equipped with solar power-stations and has its own private bathroom 30 meters away with hot water and light.
The common areas
Guests can enjoy a 60 sqm sheltered wooden deck, with a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove and barbecue grill. They can also shop from a small pantry stocked with selected local and homegrown products such as Tuscan wines and pasta.

The campsite is conveniently located near renown hiking trails such as the one leading to the medieval fort Rocca di Pietracassia. We can arrange e-bike rentals or horseback excursions directly from the tent.

How to reach the campsite

The road to the campsite is a dirt road with a few steep and rocky slopes, a good car or 4x4 is preferable.
If needed we can bring you and your luggage to the tent with our 4x4 truck at check-in and check-out.
We can arrange a driver from and to the train station or airport upon request.
